Pure Audio Visual are currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Technician. Located in our head office in Preston, the successful candidate will have knowledge of audio-visual systems and have experience working in an office environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the Service Desk Supervisor duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Take incoming service calls and addressing enquiries or product faults
  • Reviewing client requests and allocate works to field service engineers
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support as required
  • Scheduling engineer call outs to site
  • Scheduling planned preventative maintenance visits
  • Monitor client's assets and provide asset management and outstanding work reports as required
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of repaired or replacement parts and equipment
  • Maintaining and updating ticketing platform
  • Handling RMA’s


The following are essential for the role:

  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • A natural multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment and manage hectic schedules effectively
