We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Programmer / Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team at Pure Audio Visual. The purpose of this role is to program & commission audio-visual control systems.

The work will involve a mix of in-house development and on-site commissioning to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our systems. Experience in Audio Setup / DSP Configuration is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the Programming Manager duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and programming audio-visual control systems using, but not limited to Crestron, Q-Sys and Extron platforms.
  • Collaborating with design, installation, project management and other members of the programming & commissioning team, to create customised solutions that meet client specifications and requirements.
  • Commissioning and testing of audio-visual systems both in-house and on-site site to ensure optimal performance and integration.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to programming, and system integration.
  • Maintaining and updating programming documentation, including code, AVIT Schedules and equipment configs.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audio-visual technology.
  • Participating in project planning, execution, and quality assurance processes.


The following are essential for the role:

  • Proven experience in programming ideally on Crestron and Q-Sys platforms.
  • Experience in Audio DSP.
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual system design, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of IT and networks.
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Crestron Certified Programmer, Q-Sys Level 1 & 2, Audio DSP certifications).
  • Driving Licence.
