Pure Audio Visual are currently seeking an experienced AV Field Service Engineer. Although the role with be based predominantly in the south of England, both national and international travel will be required.

The successful candidate must highly motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the Service Manager duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing first and second-line telephone support
  • Provide third-line onsite support
  • Provide onsite holiday and sickness cover
  • De/Reinstalling faulty equipment, ensuring any programs or configuration files are installed
  • Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance visits
  • Occasionally assisting with installation and commissioning of AV systems
  • Providing basic customer training on system operation


The following are essential for the role:

  • Full driving licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical knowledge of AV systems
  • Working knowledge of networking
  • The ability to read schematic diagrams
  • Technical knowledge of AV control systems and audio DSP’s
  • Good fault-finding skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills

 

The following is preferred but not essential for the role:

  • Avixa CTS
